The Role
The Emiratization Coordinator at Saab UAE will play a key role in supporting the execution of the company’s Emiratization Strategy. This position focuses on implementing initiatives that promote Emirati talent, assisting with partnerships, and ensuring the company’s compliance with Emiratization laws. The coordinator will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to meet the strategic goals of strengthening the local workforce. The role is part of the company’s department for Strategy and will report to the Head of Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute the Emiratization Strategy - implement initiatives and programs that align with the Emiratization goals of the company, ensuring progress in increasing Emirati representation within Saab UAE
Build and maintain partnerships: establish and nurture relationships with academic institutions, government entities, and private sector organizations to create opportunities for Emirati professionals.
Monitor, track and report progress: collect and analyse data related to Emiratization efforts, tracking key performance indicators and reporting on progress to ensure goals are being met.
Stakeholder engagement: collaborate with internal departments and external partners to drive Emiratization initiatives, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned with the company’s objectives.
Ensure compliance: stay updated on Emiratization laws and regulations, ensuring that all actions are compliant with UAE labour laws and that the company is meeting legal requirements.
Employee support and retention: work closely with Strategy & HR to support Emirati employee’s professional development programs, offering guidance on training opportunities, career paths, and other retention strategies.
Identify innovative solutions: proactively suggest new approaches to improve the recruitment, development, and retention of Emirati employees.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communication, or related fields.
excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic, with the ability to engage with different stakeholders.
Networking ability to build, maintain and expand networks of contacts across academic institutions, government bodies and industry partners.
1-2 years of experience in a related role, ideally in business administration, communication and/or coordination.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and ensure timely completion of all assignments.
Team player ability to work independently while also collaborating with teams to achieve Emiratization goals.
Understanding of UAE labour laws: basic understanding of UAE labour laws, particularly those related to Emiratization.
